This study examined the effects of job characteristics on job satisfaction for personnel in charge of welfare tasks in outreach community centers and verified the mediating effects of job stress and burnout. The study utilized analysis data from surveys conducted to identify the current status of personnel in outreach community centers by the Nowon-gu Administration Research Group, and a total of 194 welfare team personnel from 19 community service centers in Nowon-gu was chosen for as subjects for final analysis. The results of the analysis were, first, the workload of personnel in charge of welfare tasks in outreach community centers had a direct effect on job satisfaction, and it also had an indirect effect on job satisfaction through job stress and burnout. Second, while work importance did not have a direct effect on job satisfaction for personnel in charge of welfare in outreach community centers, it was shown to have an indirect effect on job satisfaction through job stress and burnout. Lastly, it was confirmed that the effects of job difficulty on job satisfaction for personnel in charge of welfare in outreach community centers were neither directly or indirectly significant. Therefore, this research provided political and practical implications based on the analysis results.
