The Korea Local Administration Review

This study seeks to alternatives of implementation system of balanced regional development policy of Moon Jae-in government by critically investigating recent opinions proposed by experts about regional development. Through the analytical angle of document studies, the aim is to examine the logic and reason of each issues in the context of the philosophy of regional development, the possibility of combination of decentralization and balanced regional development, the proper unit of spatial planning, and the special accounts. The implementation system is still improving. This study can be utilized in drawing Moon’s decentralized and balanced regional development policy.
