Techno-Park (TP) has been widely recognized for its importance to growthhigh-tech enterprises, and has become a popular policy tools to promote regionalinnovation. This study evaluated the effectiveness of the Korean 16 TPs, which isbuilt by the governmental initiative in terms of growth of regional leading companies.According to analysis results, the enterprises on located TPs were higher thannon-located on growth rates (e.g. average total asset growth rate and average totalcapital growth rate for 2006-2009). However it could not find any effectivenessin the profitable and productive growth of companies on the TPs. These resultsimplicate that TP’s support services should be mediated to increase a self-generationof enterprise as a view of profit and production (e.g. sales and operating profit).
