The purpose of this study is to examine of the public servant's authentic leadershipon organizational citizenship behavior and organizational silence, especially focusingon mediating effects of perceived organizational support. This study choose fourresearch questions: (1) Does authentic leadership have any meaningful impact onorganizational citizenship behavior? (2) Does authentic leadership have any meaningfulimpact on organizational silence? (3) Does perceived organizational support as amediator have any meaningful impact on the relationships between authentic leadershipand organizational citizenship behavior and organizational silence? Data for analysiswere collected through questionnaires from 172 public servant's from March 2015.The results of analysis all research questions has a positive effect and the publicservant's authentic leadership increased the employees' organizational citizen behaviorand the decreased employees' organizational silence. Second, the mediating effectsof perceived organizational support in the relationship between authentic leadershipand OCB, organizational silence were verified. This study presents that authenticleadership can be applied to the local government organization beyond business andprivate organization.
