English abstract: The purpose of this study is to define public life of citizensand construct the index system to measure citizens' satisfaction of public life.The public life satisfaction is defined as the level of satisfaction of each citizenin terms of three categories of public affairs affecting individual citizen, whichare public services, income redisitribution and equalization of opportunities, andeconomic stablization. On the basis of this conceptualization, four indices areconstructed: Public Service Satisfaction Index, Redistribution Index, EconomicStablization Index, and Personalized Public Life Satisfaction Index. This studyprovides the actual calculation results of four indices using a citizen surveydata, which was conducted in April, 2013. The GINI coeffienents for the fourindices are calculated to figure out the level of inequality in the public lifesatisfaction. The results of multiple regression analyses are also presented todiscuss the variables affecting the public life satisfaction.
