There have been many academic discussions about an effect of organizationalculture on organizational effectiveness. Yet there have been few academicdiscussions about an influence of organizational culture on organizationaleffectiveness in fire service organizations. This is a study to empiricallycontemplate an impact of organizational culture on organizational effectivenessin fire service organizations. Based on the regression analysis of the datacollected from Daegu Metropolitan City fire service officials, the study presentsthat the so called group culture and market culture could lead to animprovement of organizational effectiveness in the case of fire serviceorganizations.
