This research empirically studies the impact of job characteristics on organizational effectiveness for better human resource management in the cadastral fields.
This study focuses on job characteristics and organizational effectiveness. There has been no other research that clearly defines the relation between job characteristics and organizational effectiveness except Dr. Y. H. Lee 's research. In this article, job characteristics factors consist of task technique, task identity, task importance, autonomy, feedback, and organizational effectiveness factors are job commitment, work desire, separation tendency, and organizational commitment.
This study concludes that employees of the Korea Cadastral Survey Corporation show the value of 3.4 in terms of questions on job characteristics, which is above average. In terms of job characteristics, task technique strengthens work desire and job commitment. Task identity has negative relations with organizational commitment and work desire. Task importance has a positive affect on the job commitment. Also high autonomy has positive relations with job commitment and organizational commitment while it has a negative impact on work desire.
