The Korea Local Administration Review

 An organization of board or committee type has played a important role in public sector and in self-government system. Central government and autonomies can consult experts and citizen and come to reasonable conclusion, therefore it can make it possible of fairness and confidence in public administration. But recent researches on governmental organization have overlooked a field of boards and committees in public sector, specially in local government. A purpose of this study is to come up with improvement directions for local government committee focused on Seoul metropolis. This study analyzes the present state of public committee in Seoul from a point of view in institution and presents improvement directions and strategies.
