Korea Research Institute for Local Administration (KRILA) will participate in the 7th Regional Symposium, which is held jointly by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA) and the Ministry of Interior and Safety (MOIS) in Songdo Convensia.
The symposium, which marks its seventh anniversary this year, will discuss joint crisis countermeasures such as strengthening cooperation in the public administration sector among Asia-Pacific countries and the climate crisis to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The theme of the symposium is "Effective Digital Governance and Digital Transformation for Accelerating the Progress towards the 2030 Agenda - Promoting Sustainable, Resilient, and Innovative Solutions."
Public administration experts from 30 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including the United Nations, will attend, and 1,500 domestic and foreign officials, including high-ranking government officials, academic figures, and representatives of private organizations, will participate nationally and offline.
In addition, Mr. Jae Bok Joo, Vice President of KRILA, will participate in the roundtable and make a presentation at the Local Government & Partnerships Forum on October 19.
