The Korea Research Institute for Local Administration(KRILA) and Hanoi Architectural University hosted the international cooperation agreement ceremony and bilateral seminar in Dasan Hall, KRILA on October 24th, 2019.
The main content of this agreement was to strengthen the academic exchange between KRILA and Hanoi Architectural University, which can support the government's New Southern Policy.
Following the signing ceremony for international cooperation, the bilateral seminar began with a keynote lecture about 'Policies for Balanced National Development in Vietnam after United in 1975' by Le Quan, the president of Hanoi National University of Architecture, and was followed by Park Jin-kyung, a researcher at the Regional Inclusive Development Office at KRILA with the topic of 'Contents and Challenges of Korea's Balanced National Development Policy', Nguen Thi Lan Phuong, the dean of the college of Urban Management at Hanoi Architectural University with the topic of 'Symbiotic Relationship between Residents and Urban Authorities for Smart Urban Development', Pham Trong Thuat, the president of the University Council at Hanoi Architectural University with the topic of 'Symbiotic Relationship between Residents and Urban Authorities for Smart Urban Development' and lastly, Nguen Thi Phuong the dean of the college of Urban Management at Hanoi Architectural University, presented 'Vietnam Urban and Regional Development Strategies' and had a discussion.
Kwon Oh-chul, the vice president of KRILA commented, "We expect it to be a successful cooperation case for sharing Korea-Vietnam balanced national development policy experience."
