2018 KRILA-CLAIR Bilateral Seminar The 9th Seminar

Korea Research Institute for Local Administration(KRILA) hosted the 9th KRILA-CLAIR Bilateral Seminar under the theme of “Disaster measures of local governments in Korea and Japan” on October 19th, 2018, in the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry(KCCI) Seoul.

The Seminar, co-hosted by Council of Local Authorities for International Relations(CLAIR) and Seoul Newspaper, was attended by 150 participants including scholoars and officials of local governments from Korea and Japan. The experts discussed the recent series of earthquakes and the worst heat wave in Korea, as well as the earthquakes and the typhoon damage in Japan. They also had time to grapple with the problems and find a counterplan.
